Down East Preservation is dedicated to protecting, preserving, and promoting our history by uniting restoration, craftsmanship, and design while honoring the past.
At Down East Preservation, we promote preserving the history of eastern North Carolina. We restore privately owned homes, commercial buildings, and structures purchased by our company. Our thoughtful craft and design approach provides clients with a finished product that maintains the original fabric of a structure with a nod towards modern living.
In 2022, Down East Preservation added an additional branch of services to our offerings: Down East Properties. Down East Properties builds custom homes that encompass historical architectural elements of Edenton.
Down East Woodworks is our on-site woodshop. This woodshop was built into our business plan to offer our clients the option of custom cabinetry and handcrafted signature pieces created by our master craftsmen.
Down East Design is our on-site design center. Clients are provided with the opportunity to work directly with an interior designer to create a one-of-a-kind space.
